This is coming into our favourite time of year for food boxes - fresh vibrant greens, hearty root veg and loads of seasonal changes from week to week.
This week's boxes are full of smoky celeriac, nice sized cauliflower, ripe pumpkin, plus the usual staples of local carrots and potatoes.
Eat well,
Food Garden
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

EGGPLANT has been a bit shy the last few weeks—slow to set fruit with the cool nights. Fingers crossed for a steady supply by next week.
TOMATOES and CUCUMBERS are holding steady in the glasshouse crops—reliable volume and good eating.Â
Biodynamic NAVEL ORANGES look to be a regular now after a slow start to the season.
Small RED SWEET POTATO have been a huge favourite - they have a short season, and are not that common so we’ll be getting them in the boxes before they disappear again.
SPINACH has been short and unpredictable the last couple of weeks - hoping we have them back this week after this rain.
LETTUCE is pretty happy - plenty Baby Cos from Mornington. And new season RADISH is back in the Victorian boxes.
BROCCOLI and CAULIFLOWER also having a nice flush in this winter weather - nice and fresh and great value from biodynamic growers, as well as some closer to home near Pakenham.
RED ONIONS from biodynamic growers near Geelong is our preferred onion - LEEK from Colac and Spring Onion from Labertouche are also up there.
And AVOCADO also well and truly back in season - coming in green, but ripening up after about a week and eating really well - have reduced in price by about half in the last couple of months - now 2 for $4.
