Both sides of the bay are picking excellent produce right now - with onions, celeriac, leek, parsnip, beetroot from the west; and kale, lettuce, spinach, fennel, cabbage from the east.

And from local growers closer to home, we still have carrots, potatoes and turnips for you.

THIS WEEKS PRODUCE

To mix the boxes up a little, we’re lucky to be getting a late flush from up north (now that the weather has eased) and are able to include CAPSICUM and ZUCCHINI in them again. 

From a little closer to home, fresh BEETROOT with leaves from Swan Hill are back. Darren in Inverleigh is still picking his beets, along with biodynamic CELERIAC and PARSNIP - both in the Vic boxes.

Biodynamic CABBAGE from up north is excellent value this week; and Joe from Colac will have his Cabbage in the Vic boxes also.

BROCCOLI will be a little short (and $$) these next few weeks - so expect more CAULIFLOWER in the boxes instead.

Greens are starting to respond to sunnier days - we have BABY COS LETTUCE from Baxter and SILVERBEET from Colac; hopeful we’ll have BABY SPINACH back too.

Biodynamic RED ONIONS are excellent value right now - and in the boxes.

For fruit, we have biodynamic APPLES from Red Hill (Fuji & Gala for the boxes). A nice pick of BANANA has brought the price back.
