We’re replacing onions with leeks, turnips for parsnips and spinach for silverbeet in this week's boxes - and including seasonal brassicas of red cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

From Inverleigh near Geelong, Darren is bringing in his PARSNIP and CELERIAC - both in peak season right now.
Ronalds TURNIP will have another week or two to gain size, so we’ll have some from Colac instead.
CARROTS from Bullarto usually finish up this time each year, but Adam says it's a particularly good season and he’s expecting to keep harvesting well into July at this stage.
POTATO crop on other hand will be affected by higher demand in coming months since the Queensland crop was heavily impacted by the wet weather a few months ago, and a lot of the crop rotted in the ground.
The boxes this week will have biodynamic RED CABBAGE, Pakenham BROCCOLI and CAULIFLOWER from Mornington - all the brassicas in season.
Greens for the week will be SILVERBEET from Colac and LETTUCE from Mornington.
Baby SPINACH is pretty limited at the moment and not assured of being available week to week - hopefully that eases soon.
LEEK from Colac will replace Onions in the boxes this week. And FENNEL from Gippsland back in the Victorian boxes.
For fruit it will all be about citrus for the Winter months - MANDARIN from Mildura has been excellent and so the flavour for NAVEL ORANGES and TANGELO.
For apples, our pick would be the PINK LADY for flavour, and for value it would be biodynamic FUJI from Red Hill.
Also for value we have two varieties of AVOCADO for 2 for $4 - the Hass and soft skinned Fuerte - both ripening up nicely after about 4-6 days.
