Nice to see some Tomato joining us from up north and from polytunnels in Gippsland to provide some relief from the root veg - which are slowing early this Winter.
Sweet potato, chat potato, tomato, broccolini and mandarins all feature in this week's boxes - and make up the mix of top value organic produce this week.
** also, for dried banana lovers, we finished dehydrating a batch and ready for orders this week **
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

We’ll start to see more BROCCOLI now with growers in south east Melbourne and further down in Gippsland starting to harvest.
In Bairnsdale, delicious tender BROCCOLINI continues in the boxes at an excellent value of $4.60 a bunch.
Multi colour (red/ green mix) CAPSICUM from up north is back in price thanks to a grower special, and ZUCCHINI continues at reasonable value too.
Some warmer weather brings early Spring TOMATO from up north too - and we even have a small amount of HEIRLOOM TOMATO from polytunnels in Labertouche Gippsland.
Greens for the boxes - from Colac tender bunches of PAK CHOY and small BABY COS LETTUCE from Baxter.
Winter root veg is tailing off early this season, most likely due to an early start to harvest - PARSNIP from Inverleigh and TURNIP from Colac both are slowing, if not finished.
We’ll still have CELERIAC for a little while, although we are down to the larger size roots.
CARROTS from Mildura are slow to start after the Daylesford season has finished. And the local POTATO season is over this week, and will start again next January. All spuds from up north from next week.
Plenty of kilo sized SWEET POTATO at 30% off for root veg lovers .
And for fruit, MANDARIN from Mildura have been consistently excellent, with the 1kg nets the pick of good value fruit - along with AVOCADO now 2 for $3.
New season apples this week will be LADY WILLIAMS from Red Hill; and new season citrus BLOOD ORANGES from Swan Hill join us this week also.
