THIS WEEKS PRODUCE

New season from up north SWEET CORN appears in the boxes this week in celebration of some warm weather this week (if you count 16 deg as warm).

Closer to home, new growers from Gippsland, the Peninsula and Monbulk bringing in BROCCOLI and CAULIFLOWER in nice amounts bringing prices down again for another week.

The same for CABBAGE - excellent value right now - but not taking a break from this week's boxes.

Victorian boxes will have SPRING ONION and delicious GOLD BEETROOT from Swan Hill, and BUTTERNUT PUMPKIN from Mildura, as the pumpkin season starts to fade out.

Large 1kg sized SWEET POTATO super value for sweet potato lovers.

CARROTS from Midura and Tassie are back this week, and should be regularly available again.

Biodynamic CELERIAC from Inverleigh starting to finish up, but will have plenty this week.

Greens for the week will be bunches of SPINACH from Pearcedale and BABY COS LETTUCE from Baxter on the Peninsula.

For fruit, MANDARIN from Mildura continues to be our pick (1kg nets just $8.90), and NAVEL ORANGES (also from Mildura) having an excellent season.

Late season BEURRE BOSC PEARS from Red Hill will appear in Vic boxes, and APPLES from Red Hill will be either PINK LADY or LADY WILLIAMS.
