Warmer weather up north is bringing excellent value for tomato, green capsicum and  eggplant - lets make the most of it whilst the weather is cold down here.
Closer to home, the brassicas are loving the cold mornings, so kale, cabbage, broccolini, and cauliflower are all benefitting in quality and flavour.
Expect a nice mix of all in this week's boxes.
Eat well,

PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

Yes there is plenty of BEETROOT around this time of year, and it's not everyone's favourite, so let us know if you want a break from it (this week or ongoing) because we’ll have some lovely fresh picks from Swan Hill still with leaves in the boxes.
All the brassicas are coming into their own right now - so there is excellent value for CAULIFLOWER and CABBAGE - both from biodynamic growers and in this week's boxes.
CARROTS continue to be short, but we expect to have them this week and in the boxes - coming from Mildura and up north in Queensland.
Greens for the week will be bulbs of FENNEL from COLAC.
POTATO will be Dutch Cream and/or Sebago CHATS in the boxes. Late season picks of TOMATO in the boxes too.
For fruit, our APPLES will be either Fuji or Lady Williams; MANDARINS will be a mix of Daisy and Imperials and ORANGES will be juicy Navels from Mildura.
