Brassica time, with red cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli featuring in the veg boxes. Along with celery halves and plenty of root veg and citrus fruit.
Great value on red onions, lemonades and avocado this week too.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

Biodynamic RED CABBAGE for the veg boxes, dense halves full of brassica sweetness - the mixed choice will have biodynamic heads from up north from one of our favourite growers, and the victorian boxes will have some fresh picked heads down in Colac from Joe Sgros farm.
Leafy greens will be a mix of small bunches of GREEN KALE from Monbulk, bunches of BLACK KALE from Inverleigh near Geelong, SILVERBEET from Labertouche and for the smaller boxes, bags of BABY SPINACH from Pearcedale.
Plenty of nice sized CELERY halves also in the boxes for the week.
New season SWEDE from Colac and PARSNIP from Pakenham are the main root vegetables. POTATO from Daylesford has a few more weeks to go, then it will be all from up Queensland.
Great value for RED ONIONS this week - unfortunately not much salad veg to go with them.
For fruit, MANDARINS from Swan Hill are excellent eating, a new pick of TANGELO is coming from Mildura, and the CARA CARA oranges still are our favourite.
Pears, both PACKHAM and BUERRE BOSC are a little rough looking with skin marks, but the fruit is excellent eating - all coming from biodynamic orchards near Merrigum.
And from Red Hill for this week's boxes we have JAZZ APPLES again, crisp and tangy, exclusively grown by the Edwards family down the coast.
