Plenty of seasonal value in the boxes this week, with snow peas, tomato, lettuce, broccolini, cabbage and cauliflower all abundantly coming from Vic growers.
Which means top quality, and top value - win win.
Eat well,
Graham

BROCCOLINI is definitely better value and pick over broccoli this week - both from Vic growers, however the broccolini bunches are just $4.90 ea.
So too SNOW PEAS from biodynamic growers in Inverleigh - just $2.90 a bag and hitting peak for Vic growers, with Nyah growers also bringing in.
Ronald has just started his BROAD BEANS season, so will have them again for a couple of weeks if you’re keen - and haven't moved on to summer produce just yet :)
CAULIFLOWER from Silvan has been excellent, and another good buy for this week - we’ll have halves in this week's boxes.
Biodynamic ONIONS from up north are a staple in the boxes at the moment, and now just $4.50kg.
POTATO season for Vic growers still about 6-8 weeks away - Sebago, Dutch Creams and Desiree all coming from northern growers for now.
Large green CABBAGE quarters from Pakenham in the veg boxes, and such a great option at the moment, for all those brassica lovers.
YELLOW SQUASH is back for a few weeks (hopefully), and CAPSICUM is starting to come through more regularly - still to see local growers in Mildura and Gippsland start their season.
Greens for the boxes will be bunches of SPINACH from Pearcedale and BABY COS lettuce from Labertouche.
Just the one grower of CELERY at the moment, hence the price change in the past few weeks. And not peak quality unfortunately.
For fruit, biodynamic APRICOTS from Gecko Woods in St Germains, near Kyabram will be the pick of the bunch. We’ll also be changing NECTARINES growers to Lesters from northern Victoria.
Honey Muroctt MANDARINS are just $7kg from now to the end of their season, still eating well.
And Daylesford STRAWBERRIES will be in the larger Victorian boxes - coming direct from Adams farm in Bullarto.
