Thank you for everyone’s understanding about last week's last minute closure.
We’re back this week, and have extended the Wholefoods offer for another week - you’ll have received an email about that yesterday.
From local growers - tomato, cucumber, potato, strawberries, garlic, squash, zucchini - and plenty from other Vic growers for the veg boxes - tomato, apples, pears, rockmelon, grapes, plums, berries, capsicum, corn, lettuce, chinese greens, cabbage, beans, butternut.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

Normally this time of year we wouldn’t see much brassicas at all. And although BROCCOLI is no longer around, we do have BROCCOLINI bunches from Bairnsdale.
And the boxes, we’ll have dense and large quarters of RED CABBAGE from Pakenham and CAULIFLOWER from up north and a small amount from Silvan in Victoria’s east.
Ronald is picking GREEN CUCUMBER for the boxes and orders. The LEBANESE CUCUMBER from Labertouche seems to be finishing up soon.
YELLOW SQUASH and ZUCCHINI also coming up from Campbelltown from Ronalds paddocks.
TOMATO from biodynamic gardens in Inverleigh are excellent. We’ll also have CHERRY TOMATO from the same gardens in 250g bags.
Green CAPSCIUM from Mornington Peninsula is it for capsicum at the moment - the milder days have slowed down local crops of red caps.
Plenty of excellent SWEET CORN from Gippsland, and plenty in the boxes too.
Greens for the week will PAK CHOY from the Peninsula and BABY COS LETTUCE from Labertouche in Gippsland.
New season BUTTERNUT pumpkin from Mildura starts this week, and POTATO from Thorpdale continues for the start of the Victorian season.
For fruit, biodynamic BLOOD PLUM are now the Satsuma variety.
PEARS, also from biodynamic orchards, are the Williams variety from Merrigum and brown Nashi from near Shepparton - both excellent eating.
APPLES will be new season Akane (old style tartness) or Kalie varieties - from Merrigum and Red Hill respectively.
BANANA is still recovering from weather over Christmas and starting to come down in price.
Mildura AVOCADO is finishing up - we won’t have a special “3 for” option for a little while - now back to larger singles for orders.
GRAPES will be red Ralli Seedless, and the excellent value Sultana variety - both from Robinvale growers.
