Warmer days and evenings mean the tomato and capsicum are finally arriving in better amounts.
This week's boxes combine the summer veg with cooler weather pumpkin, cauliflower and beetroot. Greens are chard, spinach and lettuce. Fruit will be apples, pears, plums and melons.
Plenty of Vic organic produce in all the boxes for you to get stuck into 🙂
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

Wombat CARROTS are in full swing now since picking started a couple weeks ago. Hope you notice the difference in new season local carrots. We should have them until around June.
EGGPLANT from Vortex in Inverleigh are having a grand few weeks - plenty of excellent biodynamic fruit coming through.
From Mornington the CAULIFLOWER is a little smaller than the winter crop (which is to be expected). BROCCOLI also arriving from down the Peninsula.
TOMATO looks to have arrived in earnest after a warmer week, and milder nights. We’ll have a few varieties in the boxes, with Costoluto and Grosse Lisse from Ronalds, and starting next week Rouge de Marmande from Florians. Should also see CAPSICUM with more colour.
New season LEEK from Colac in the Victorian boxes and BUTTERNUT pumpkin from Mildura. The Mixed Choice boxes will have biodynamic ONIONS from up north and biodynamic JAP PUMPKIN.
Another large flush of ZUCCHINI from Yarra Valley, Inverleigh and the local patch near Newstead. Remember, if you have them in your own garden, let us know you’d like them excluded from your boxes so we can swap something else in for you.
For greens we have RAINBOW CHARD from the Gippsland area, BABY SPINACH from Pearcedale and those delicious small COS LETTUCE from Labertouche.
For fruit, MIldura ROCKMELON is cutting well, a new pick of biodynamic RED CANDY PLUMS from Euroa and WILLIAMS PEARS from Merrigum are our picks.
A nice flush of STRAWBERRIES from Daylesford means we can offer them 2 for $11 this week.
Slowing down on AVOCADO, so back to the single large Hass varieties for now.
And for APPLES, we are preferring the GALA from Euroa for the boxes, and the new season EMPRESS APPLES (sweet) from over west.
