New season pear and apple varieties, along with pineapple quince mean Autumn is here - even if Autumn weather hasn't quite cemented itself.
Which means Summer crops of sweet corn, capsicum, zucchini and tomato are all still going strong - making for a nice mix for the boxes this week.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

BEETROOT from Inverleigh is finishing up, and a new harvest from Swan Hill is just starting - fortunate to have a few different seasonal climates in Victoria.
PIMENTO CAPSICUM from Gippsland is a nice small capsicum, with thinner skin - expect plenty in the boxes.
CARROT season looks to be carrying on strong - the dry weather making harvesting easy - and the crop is looking strong with few going to juice grade.
A small amount of CAULIFLOWER coming down from up north and just a smattering of small ones from Mornington. With BROCCOLI short again, we’ll include some caulis in this week's boxes.
Plenty of EGGPLANT - coming from up north with the local harvest almost done for another season.
Spuds for this week will be Royal Blue, Sebago, Pontiac and DUTCH CREAM (Thorpdale) for the boxes. Still a few months away from the Daylesford harvest; Ronald in Campbelltown has been bringing in a small amount of Sebago for the Vic boxes.
Greens for the week will be SPINACH from Pearcedale, both in 100g bags and in bunches; other greens will be ICEBERG LETTUCE from Mornington Peninsula.
Ronald's heirloom TOMATO continues, as do his small ZUCCHINI - complimented with zucchini from swan hill growers.
Lovely SWEET CORN cobs from Gippsland and the Peninsula are here again - they’ll be finished as quickly as they started, so including them in the boxes whilst they are here.
SWEET POTATO arriving in more abundance, and enough to include in the boxes instead of PUMPKIN for this week.
For fruit, new season APPLES from Edwards family in Red Hill include varieties of Gala and Fuji, with their Juicing Apples starting this week also. Soon to follow will be Golden Delicious.
Biodynamic SUMMER PINK from Mocks family in Red Hill is a nice early substitute for Pink Lady which comes later in the season.
New varieties of BEURRE BOSC pears join WILLIAMS and PACKHAM - all from biodynamic orchards in Merrigum and Shepparton.
It may feel a little early for QUINCE but the new season “Pineapple” variety is here.
And WATERMELON from Mildura returns at an even more special price.
AVOCADO from Queensland to arrive in the next week or two.
Daylesford STRAWBERRIES direct from Adam continue at $4.90 this week.
