For peak season value on organic produce, right now tomato, zucchini, broccoli, kale, capsicum, sweet corn, grapes and plums are all fairing well, and our focus for the boxes.
New season fennel, eggplant and yellow squash are what's new for the week.
Eat well,
Graham

It's been a lean year for EGGPLANT, with weather flipping from extreme heat to cold giving the fruit little momentum to develop. There’s a small crop coming from Gippsland that we’re hoping we can make into the boxes for the week.
Plenty of ZUCCHINI from Yarra Valley and more local in Campbellstown with Ronalds plants going again - from up north we’ll have some YELLOW SQUASH in the boxes.
PIMENTO from Koo Wee Rup and yellow BULLHORNS from Shepparton, are the CAPSICUM from Vic growers.
For greens, our picks are luscious bunches of SPINACH from Pearcedale and great sized bunches of KALE from the Mornington Peninsula.
FENNEL has returned to the boxes, nice sized bulbs being picked down in Koo Wee Rup.
TOMATO from Inverleigh starting to slow, whilst we swap over to Gippsland growers.
Still little sign of nice CAULIFLOWER on the horizon, so we’ll continue with BROCCOLI in the larger boxes - nice picks from Nyah and past Pakenham.
A small amount of BEANS from Bairnsdale continues - not sure for how long, but this milder weather is drawing out the harvest nicely.
Not great news on the CELERY - haven't been impressed by what's around - so have taken off the website until either the small Labertouche bunches or the larger bunches from near Renmark come in.
For fruit, new season PEARS will be in the boxes as the mainstay, with varieties of Beurre Bosc, Williams and Ya Li.
Biodynamic RED CANDY PLUMS continue as the last remaining stone fruit for the season.
And we have a new variety of Grapes with WHITE MUSCAT and biodynamic CRIMSON SEEDLESS our pick of the varieties around.
New season LIME is here whilst we patiently wait for other citrus, particularly Lemons and Grapefruit.
