We’re starting to see more Autumn (and Winter) fare coming through now, with new season cauliflower, kale, turnip all in this week's boxes.
And for fruit, we’ll see more grapefruit, quince and persimmon as the season changes.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

For the boxes, biodynamic CHAT POTATO from Geelong are the small delightful bit sized dutch creams - just $4.50kg.
Other root veg will be large 1kg sized SWEET POTATO, and some new season TURNIP from Colac, coming in early.
BROCCOLINI from Bairnsdale and Shepparton, and new season CAULIFLOWER from Nyah in northern Vic are the brassicas for the boxes. We still have a small amount of local broccoli coming, but soon it will be from northern states.
New season BLACK KALE from Baxter and PAK CHOY from Colac are the greens in the boxes.
ICEBERG LETTUCE returns from growers down the Peninsula, along with COS LETTUCE.
SWEET CORN still has some time to run, but once the warm days stop the dance will be over - in the boxes for another week.
An excellent season for CAPSICUM continues, meaning we have red bullhorns, yellow bullhorns and red capsicum from Gippsland.
ZUCCHINI from Mildura continuing on strong too. Not so for Eggplant, Tomato and Cucumber though; all slowing down now.
For fruit, BEURRE BOSC pears are super crystal sweet; and biodynamic PACKHAM pears from Shepparton eat well soft or firm.
White MUSCAT GRAPES return for a short time; but our favourite continues to be CRIMSON SEEDLESS from biodynamic growers in Robinvale.
New season Red GRAPEFRUIT starts this week; and so too some Autumn fair with VANILLA PERSIMMONS, and QUINCE to follow in the next couple of weeks.
