Our favourite time of year is blood plum and peach season - and this week we have our favourite biodynamic stone fruit grower harvesting both.

In addition, summer apples arrive with the tart Abas variety (another favourite), strawberries are special, and an abundance of broccolini means excellent value for you.

THIS WEEKS PRODUCE

Bairnsdale growers picking BROCCOLINI in large amounts this week - so we’ve got these fresh tender bunches for just $4.50 each. Plenty of BROCCOLI too at a much reduced price.

Biodynamic CAPSICUM also excellent value - ripening nicely, so we’ll have red caps in the Vic boxes too this week.

New season Mildura CARROTS arriving in small amounts - local crop about 2-3 weeks away.

Excellent biodynamic EGGPLANT from Darren in Inverleigh - the best eggplant we get all year comes from these market gardens that are worked by a master in biodynamics.

New season FENNEL from Koo Wee Rup was back last week - this week we have in the boxes along with Mornington ICEBERG LETTUCE, for all your summer salad dishes (or bulbs whole and in segments).

Pumpkin for the Vic boxes will be BUTTERNUT this week.

And we’ll be including more SQUASH instead of ZUCCHINI in this week's boxes - coming from Ronald in Campbelltown, and getting rave reviews.

Daylesford STRAWBERRIES just $5.50 a punnet this week - great value for this peak season fruit, coming direct from the grower.

ABAS APPLES are the new season summer apple of preference - that old world tartness, freshly picked from biodynamic orchards this side of Shepparton.

Beautiful ripe biodynamic BLOOD PLUMS from Majestic Park are the pick of the stone fruit, followed closely by YELLOW PEACHES from the same bd grower - our pick of the fruit this week, and in the boxes.

New season biodynamic DAWN SEEDLESS from Robinvale replace the Menindee variety of the past couple of weeks (red grapes taking a break this week).

And we are taking a pause of AVOCADO with the Victorian season now finished, and we’re yet to select another grower that we’re happy with.
