The public holiday week could cause some small disruptions with the growers; and the heat early in the week could see produce like berries and leafy greens affected. We’ll have to wait and see come tomorrow and Wednesday.
Hoping for the best, with new season beans from northern Vic, coloured capsicum, local zucchini and potato and plenty of biodynamic seasonal produce in the boxes.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

From Nyah in the north of Vic, we have new season BEANS arriving, joining their SNOW PEAS.
Biodynamic TOMATO from Inverleigh and a small amount of ROMA from Swan Hill will be featured in the boxes again - have been delicious so far this season.
ZUCCHINI have been heavily affected by the winds the last few weeks, but Ronald seems to have enough coming for this week (as long as the weather early in the week isn't worse on the flowers than already predicted).
Ronald will also have the rest of his new potato KIPFLER - this time in smaller 600g lots; and he’ll be picking a new row of RED LADY POTATO for the boxes too.
Small SWEET POTATO for the Mixed Choice and JAP PUMPKIN from Mildura for the Victorian boxes.
FENNEL from Koo Wee Rup is back in the larger boxes, as well as the Vics.
LETTUCE will be Baby Cos from Baxter; and Oak from Monbulk, nice sized heads with a mix of red and green oak.
PAK CHOY will be some of the boxes as the greens for the week, along with the LETTUCE.
From Pakenham, we have a large pick of BROCCOLI for you, and BABY BROCCOLI bunches from Bairnsdale. CAULIFLOWER is still a little too small for the boxes, and not really loving this weather.
New season RED ONIONS arrived last week from Gippsland, so we’ll be putting LEEK back in the stables whilst the local onion season is with us
For us, PRECOCE PEARS from Shepparton are small and sweet. APPLES are slowing with late season Kalie, whilst we wait for the new season pick from Shepparton and Merrigum to arrive.
STRAWBERRIES are a *maybe* for the week - the heat (even in Bullarto) of the week could make picking light on - will have to wait and see.
