New greens with iceberg lettuce from peninsula, rainbow chard from Gippsland. We should see some yellow squash and gold beetroot appear this week, if not next. And broad bean season kicks on, whilst we wait (patiently) for asparagus to appear.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

New season Gold BEETROOT WITH LEAVES will be starting - still too early if they’ll be ready for this week, but should know by Wednesday if they’ll be in the boxes.
Small SILVERBEET bunches will be the greens for the boxes - coming from Labertouche Organic farm in Gippsland.
Some northern sunshine in the form of yellow SQUASH for you this week - will be included instead of zucchini.
CAULIFLOWER is a little scarce - new season Vic crop is about two weeks away - from Shepparton we will have BROCCOLI for the boxes.
New season ICEBERG LETTUCE from Mornington started last week.
And FENNEL returned to the Vic boxes from Koo Wee Rup growers.
Biodynamic BROAD BEANS from Mildura, and a pick from Swan Hill will be pretty abundant for a few more weeks at least.
PUMPKIN on the other hand is pretty scarce right now - a small crop from up north but the SWEEt GREY from Gippsland is now over.
SWEDE from Colac is starting to run low, so expect plenty of KOHLRABI as your root veg / brassica in the boxes.
SWEET POTATO is also having a mid season break - just small sized tubes for orders.
Citrus season has an excellent run, and we have a while left with Mildura growers with BLOOD ORANGE and TANGELO both eating well.
A new pick of biodynamic FUJI APPLE from Red Hill are eating better than a few weeks ago, so they’re back on the list and in the boxes.
