And it’s here.
Asparagus from Koo Wee Rup. Another week, and Dalmore biodynamic growers will be picking too. By then, we’ll be inundated. For now, we have a small amount from Gippsland to keep us going.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

New season Gippsland ASPARAGUS starts this week - biodynamic growers should start in the next week or two. In the meantime we have this harvest from Koo Wee Rup.
Leafy greens of black KALE from Mornington and BOK CHOY from Colac for the boxes.
ROCKET and OAK LETTUCE from Monbulk return.
Shepparton BROCCOLI is keeping us going whilst other growers are pretty lean - we may swap to BROCCOLINI from Bairnsdale for the boxes if we can’t source enough broccoli.
SWEDE from Colac has a few more weeks left - so too for PARSNIP from up north - get your fill of root veg before we roll over to the warmer crops.
Last week's boxes didn't go as planned, so we’re including the BEETROOT this week instead - a mix of gold and red new season beets from Swan Hill.
So too for KOHLRABI - we’re including the last pick of the year in the boxes.
LEEK from Colac has been excellent, and continues as a great alternative to ONIONS for the Vic boxes.
New pick of Queensland BEANS should be coming down this week. And locally we have biodynamic BROAD BEANS from Mildura.
PUMPKIN is a little scarce, but we have some BUTTERNUT pumpkin from up north for the week.
Fruit continues to be citrus from Mildura, with MANDARINS and ORANGES the pick - and there is TANGELO for that extra tartness kick.
Fuji and Pink Lady APPLES from Red Hill are our pick for the boxes.
And a new spring pick of RHUBARB from down near Tyabb.
