New season picks are starting to arrive now - snow peas, fennel, asparagus, beetroot, spinach, radish and tomato seedlings.
Warmer weather locally and up north should mean we’ll see more leafy greens, salad veg and less root veg in the coming weeks.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

New season SNOW PEAS start this week, and FENNEL from Koo Wee Rup gets going in earnest. Expect plenty of both in this week's boxes.
CAULIFLOWER has been a reliable staple all through winter, and it continues. BROCCOLI from local growers is still a couple weeks away, and in the meantime we have bunches of BROCCOLINI from Bairnsdale growers.
SWEET CORN returns (2 for $6) - nice looking cobs from northern growers.
After many weeks absence we’re (reasonably) confident SPINACH bunches will be back this week - so too ROCKET from Pearcedale growers.
RADISH from Mornington is also expecting to return.
Monbulk growers are bringing in large OAK LETTUCE - delicious and delicate.
The cold weather up north is easing, so we will see more ZUCCHINI and CAPSICUM arriving.
From growers closer to home we have SWEDE from Colac and the remaining KOHLRABI from Swan Hill.
New season BEETROOT from Swan Hill started last week - fresh picked with leaves - expect them in the boxes again this week.
For fruit, FUJI APPLES are our pick - biodynamic from Red Hill - and PACKHAM PEARS are ripening up lovely.
For citrus, Mildura NAVEL ORANGES and TANGELO top the list.
And BANANA should start to catch up in the next couple of weeks, after weather interruptions slowed growth and harvest.
