This week the Mixed Choice will get a taste of Gippsland Artichokes (last week's recipe will be useful), and new season Purple Broccolini bunches.

Bullhorn Capsicum, small Cauliflower halves, large Red Cabbage quarters and baby Cos Lettuce all feature in this week's boxes.

Broad Beans, Kohlrabi, Gold Beetroot and Rocket feature in the Vic boxes.

THIS WEEKS PRODUCE

From Gippsland new season bunches of purple BROCCOLINI will be in the veg boxes, along with green ARTICHOKES for another week before taking a break.

ASPARAGUS from Koo Wee Rup has slowed and won't be in the boxes for a couple of weeks.

Plenty of FENNEL though, and from Mornington loads of BABY COS LETTUCE, which has been excellent.

The Vic boxes will also have some ROCKET as well as the lettuce for their greens. The Mixed Choice will be light on greens this week. Victorian boxes will be the pick if you want more greens.

Biodynamic BROAD BEANS from Mildura have been excellent and feature once again. In the larger boxes, MUSHROOMS from Diggers Rest.

RED CABBAGE from up north is a decent size, and will be in the boxes as quarters.

Vic boxes will have GOLD BEETROOT and KOHLRABI from Swan Hill as the root veg.

Good value BULLHORN CAPSICUM, brown ONIONS and baby SWEET POTATO all feature in the Mixed Choice. Victorian boxes have LEEK, FENNEL and bunches of SPINACH.

Apples for the week will be PINK LADY and LADY WILLIAMS from Red Hill. PINK GRAPEFRUITS from Mildura are in the boxes again, as well as NAVEL ORANGES and MANDARINS (Honey Murcott and Afourer varieties)

For great value BLUEBERRIES are $5.90 and STRAWBERRIES are $7.90 a punnet. AVOCADO is just 3 for $4 again.

BANANA continues to be short in availability, and MANGO will be back in a few weeks.
