Nice large heads of broccoli for the boxes this week, along with some new season produce from local and Vic growers.

We’ll see round beans and broad beans returning, more snow peas, new zucchini and small tender bunches of pak choy from Gippsland.

THIS WEEKS SEASONAL BOXES

The MIXED Food Box contains a selection of:

The VICTORIAN Food Box contains a selection of:

THIS WEEKS PRODUCE

We should see BROCCOLI back this week, coming from growers down the Peninsula - veg boxes will have large heads (don’t be surprised 🙂)

On the other hand CAULIFLOWER will be smaller this week, and just $3.90 half - small amounts still coming from Vic growers, but mostly from up north.

Bunches of ASPARAGUS from Gippsland continue, even if they haven't burst onto the scene like in previous seasons - here's hoping it's got longer to go.

Swan Hill BEETROOT has been excellent and should be aplenty in the boxes again this week.

Greens will be small bunches of PAK CHOY from Labertouche and BABY COS from Mornington.

New season ZUCCHINI just started on the river at Mildura, and we may see some CUCUMBER from the polytunnels in Gippsland this week for the Vic boxes.

BEANS and PARSNIP are back in the Mixed Choice boxes this week - shouldn't be too long for the winter root veg to be complete, with KOHLRABI now done, and SWEDE to follow soon.

Vic boxes will have BROAD BEANS from Ronalds patch in Campbelltown, and some ARTICHOKE flowers from Koo Wee Rup and small halves of RED CABBAGE from Colac.

CARROTS and POTATO only coming from up north, so won't see them back in Vic boxes until the end of January most likely.

For fruit, new season AVANA MANDARIN arriving from Mildura. FUJI and KALIE apples for the boxes.

And stone fruit will start arriving from now - just have NECTARINES for now, but we’ll add more as the season starts proper.
