THIS WEEKS PRODUCE

New season OAK LETTUCE, a mix of red or green, coming from Monbulk near the Dandenong Ranges. BABY COS and ICEBERG continue from Baxter on the Peninsula.

We’re bringing back BROAD BEANS for another week or two - these fresh picks are from Colac. Also from the same grower, we have new season DAIKON RADISH for the Vic boxes.

CABBAGE from Koo Wee Rup returns to the boxes in large quarters.

BROCCOLI also from south east Gippsland is excellent value right now, as are other brassicas such as CAULIFLOWER (from Silvan).

Greens for the boxes will be Chinese Greens, tender bunches of PAK CHOY, and TUSCAN KALE from Gippsland.

JAP PUMPKIN is still coming from up north, and cutting excellently.

Warmer weather up north is bringing down plenty of TOMATO now - enough for the boxes. And we should see CUCUMBER follow suit.

New season fruit starting with Victorian stone fruit - first up will be biodynamic APRICOT from Majestic Park and NECTARINES from Swan Hill. PEACHES will follow soon.

For the boxes, we have biodynamic GALA APPLES from Red Hill; also available are PINK LADY and FUJI varieties.

Good value for BANANA lovers this week; and nice sized MANGO are eating well.
