The seasonal changes continue. A burst of heat and we have Beans coming back (hopefully) and from closer to home we have the super sweet Sugar Snap Peas from northern Vic and Tomato from down Gippsland.
And if the rain stays away early in the week, we should see Strawberries picked in time for Thursday and Friday.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

------------------------------------------------------
New season TOMATO from Labertouche in Gippsland will start up this week in small amounts - look for them in the Victorian boxes - rest of the boxes will have a harvest from further north.
SUGAR SNAP PEAS are here - these delicious peas eaten in their pods like snow peas, are coming down from Nyah in northern Vic and will feature in some of the boxes.
And SNOW PEAS from the same Nyah grower will also feature.
LETTUCE of a mixed variety (listed as Fancy Lettuce) will be our greens for the week in the larger boxes - a selection of green and red lettuces, some Oak, some Butter, some Lollo Lollo - whatever the grower sends in for us.
Other greens will be baby SPINACH in 100g bags and GREEN KALE from Pakenham which is just $4.90 a bunch.
We’ll see ZUCCHINI in the boxes most weeks from here - if you have some in the garden be sure to let us know to add them to your No List so we can swap something else into your food box.
CARROTS too will be a regular, but still a couple of months away from the local Daylesford crop - this week's are back in price by about 20% - a nice grower deal.
RED CABBAGE will be back in the boxes - small halves from up north.
Biodynamic ONIONS also from up north are excellent at the moment.
New season JAP PUMPKIN for the Mixed Choice boxes - nice colour and strong sweet tasting.
VALENCIA ORANGES from Mildura replace the Navel variety, and feature in the boxes alongside biodynamic FUJI APPLES from Red Hill.
The first of the Daylesford STRAWBERRIES from Wombat Organics arrive in time for Christmas.
And the stone fruit season looks to be a strong one with NECTARINES and PEACHES from Swan Hill both tasting top notch.
