You’ll find a blend of local spuds, brassicas, kale and spinach, new season beans, ripe biodynamic tomato and green nashi all in this week's boxes.

THIS WEEKS PRODUCE

We’re bouncing around a few BEAN growers at the moment, with all the weather - so this week we’re hoping for a nice pick down in Bairnsdale for the boxes and your orders.

Great value on fresh BROCCOLI - been coming down the last few weeks, enough to get two heads in the larger boxes instead of one this week.

CAPSICUM from Mildura is just starting - but a little sun damage is going on, from what we saw last week. We’ll wait another couple weeks and will have YELLOW BULLHORNS in the boxes instead.

For greens, large fresh bunches of CURLY KALE from the Peninsula, and BABY SPINACH from Pearcedale.

LETTUCE has suffered greatly from the lack of summer rains, but we’ll have MIXED SALAD, nice COS LETTUCE from Monbulk and a small amount of OAK LETTUCE also.

Gippsland SWEET CORN is having a nice run and now 2 for $4.50.

Ronald is picking fresh DUTCH CREAM potato for the boxes tomorrow morning; and we’ll have BABY SWEET POTATO to accompany them.

Local CUCUMBER slowing a little, so expect none in the Vic boxes - this week will be from  up north.

Plenty of Victorian TOMATO however, with biodynamic crop from Inverleigh still going strong.

For fruit, green NASHI PEARS and PLUMS from biodynamic orchards in Shepparton.

A new variety of biodynamic grape from Robinvale - with MENINDEE and RUBY this week's seedless varieties.

RYAN AVOCADO is our variety from Mildura - eats similar to a Hass, coming in to us green so will need to ripen.
