More and more root veg slipping into the boxes each week, but still plenty of summer tomato, zucchini and sweet corn from Vic growers.
New season red capsicum returns, along with new varieties of pears, grapes and plums.
And as always our boxes will be full of seasonal organic and biodynamic produce for you to try … or back yourself and make up your own box :)
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

RED CAPSICUM is returning, mostly from northern growers but hopefully Midura growers will have some in the next few weeks. In the meantime, the Vic boxes will have BULLHORN CAPS from Shepparton area.
SWEET CORN continues giving the sunshine in the boxes - we have a new grower in boxes from this week, coming from down the Peninsula region.
Biodynamic TOMATO and ZUCCHINI from Darren in Inverleigh are having a decent run - still haven’t seen much of his EGGPLANT yet though. This year's winds have really messed with the plants flowering and growth.
For the Mixed Choice boxes BABY SWEET POTATO and for the Vic boxes JAP PUMPKIN from Mildura.
My mistake in leaving the SWEDE behind last week, so we’re planning to have the Colac root crop in this week's boxes instead.
Greens for the week will be SILVERBEET from Colac and LETTUCE from Monbulk (hope you enjoyed those delightful OAK LETTUCE in last week's boxes).
For fruit, there will be further delay in local APPLES, with no Summer crop coming through, and still relying on the Tassie crop for a little while longer.
Plenty of PEARS appearing though - with WILLIAMS and BEURRE BOSC varieties - as well as plenty of biodynamic NASHI PEARS.
PLUMS in the boxes will be from Ballarat growers - bags of small d’agen plums. We also have new biodynamic variety of BLACK MAJESTY which are excellent eating.
New GRAPE variety this week will be CRIMSON SEEDLESS from biodynamic growers in Robinvale; and the great value SULTANA grapes continue.
