Stir Fried Cabbage and Asparagus
3 tablespoon oil
1 large green cabbage, chopped
1 small white onion, sliced
2 spring onion, chopped
8 asparagus spears, cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 teaspoon peeled and minced ginger
2 tablespoon brown sugar
240 ml chicken broth or water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon spicy chili crisps (just use 1 tbsp if sensitive to spicy food)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Heat a wok or large deep skillet over medium high heat for a few minutes then add in the oil. Stir in the garlic, ginger, spring onion, and brown sugar and it them cook for 20 seconds then add in the cabbage, onions, and asparagus. Turn the heat to high and stir constantly for another 3-4 minutes.
Add in the soy sauce, broth, chili crisps and continue to cook until the cabbage is tender. Add in more soy sauce if desired and garnish with sesame seeds. Season with salt & pepper if needed. Serve and enjoy!
