We didn’t have much luck with the Sweet Corn last week - so going to try including it again this week. Along with biodynamic tomato and cucumber from favourite growers, local zucchini, new season spuds and top value cabbage from Pakenham.
Eat well,
Graham
PS. Choose from one of our box selection, and let us know your “no list”; or make one of your own by choosing the vegetables and fruit you prefer.

With the BROCCOLI season slowing temporarily, we should see the new summer crop soon - from Bairsndale BROCCOLINI is an excellent value right now.
New season SWEDE appears for a short time each summer (strangely) so we’ll be including it in the boxes whilst the weather is a little cooler.
Plenty of new season BEETROOT from Swan Hill and Geelong. And new season NICOLA POTATO from Thorpdale will be returning to the Victorian boxes.
For leafy greens, medium sized COS LETTUCE from Ceres in Melbourne will be in the boxes; and ICEBERG from Baxter continues to be available.
SWEET CORN wasn’t great last week, so we made a last change to the boxes - planning to include in this week's boxes instead.
Biodynamic lebanese CUCUMBER and TOMATO from Darren in Inverleigh are our top picks this time of year.
CELERY is back, although the bunches are smaller than usual, and the prices are a little high - but we’ve included them because many of you were asking.
On the other end of the scale - if you love CABBAGE this is an excellent time for you.
The heat last week knocked a lot of the ZUCCHINI flowers off the plants, so it will be a little light on - although Ronald will have some for us from his paddocks in Campbelltown.
New season APPLES are not far away - for the boxes we’ll continue with late season Kalei or Golden Delicious.
Stone fruit slowed a little, but plenty of biodynamic APRICOT, new season PIZZAZ PLUMS and yellow PEACHES. - NECTARINES look to be finished.
New season GRAPES from Mildura are on their way - just biding our time to include them, once the right variety comes in.
Adams STRAWBERRIES were affected by last week's heat - they may be short this week as a result (should know by tomorrow).
