Very few changes week to week in the boxes at the moment, as the variety of produce is limited more than usual by the colder weather. Some milder days may change that up for the coming weeks.
Biodynamic root veg from near Geelong continue to be our favourite of seasonal veg - beetroot, celeriac, parsnip - along with biodynamic cauliflower from up north. And you’ll find celery, chinese greens and capsicum in the boxes for the week.
We’re replacing onions with leeks, turnips for parsnips and spinach for silverbeet in this week's boxes - and including seasonal brassicas of red cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli.
This week's boxes are full of great value brassicas (cabbage, broccoli, cauli) and seasonal root veg (turnip, celeriac, beetroot). Leafy greens of lettuce and spinach. And fruit of citrus, pears and apples.
The final week for Strawberries, last weeks for Capsicum, Cucumber and Tomato, and first week for Tangelo.
Celery returns to the boxes this week, whilst the root veg continues in abundance with biodynamic parsnip, swede and carrots.
A nice nod to brassicas, root veg and biodynamic produce in this week's boxes.
Frosty mornings and leafy greens are made for each other. On the other hand, the last of the summer veg is not so much of a fan of the cold.
New season Celeriac, fresh Turnip from Ronald, late flush of Beans, huge Sweet Potato - all in this week's boxes. Along with all the Winter veg suddenly appearing, we now have Kiwi, Grapefruit and Mandarins arriving also.
